HARRY E. HILL

Harry E. Hill, 89, of Keota died at his home Oct. 2 following a short illness.

He was born near What Cheer on June 14, 1897 to Oslen V. and Sophia Kime Hill. He attended school at Deep River. On Aug. 28, 1923 he married Susan Marks in Osceola. They lived in Deep River, Newton, Davenport and Keota since 1963. He was a retired mechanic for Caterpillar Co. in Davenport. He was a member of the Christian church and Adelphi Lodge No. 353 also attained rank of 32nd degree.

He is survived by his wife, Susan. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Jennice Pierce and Pearl Molynaux.

Services were held in the Powell Funeral Home in Keota, with the Rev. A.R. Cocke Jr. officiating. Burial was in the Golden Rod cemetery near Deep River.
