SUSAN M. HILL, 100

Susan Margaret Hill, 100, formerly of Keota, Iowa, died July 11, 1996, at the Newton Health Care Center in Newton, Iowa, following a brief illness.

Funeral services were held July 13, 1996 at the Powell Funeral Home in Keota with Rev. Albert R. Cocke officiating. Burial was in Golden Rod Cemetery in Deep River.

Susan was born January 8, 1896 in Brooklyn, Iowa, the daughter of Levi J. and Sarah Katherine Morrison Marks. She attended school in Deep River. On August 28, 1923, she was united in marriage to Harry F. Hill in Osceola, Iowa. He preceded her in death on November 6, 1986. They made their home in Deep River, Newton, Davenport and Keota. She was of the Methodist faith and was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and two sisters.

She has no immediate survivors.
