FAYE L. BRINK

Faye L. Brink, 85, of Grinnell died Saturday, Sept. 16, at Friendship Manor.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hazelwood Cemetery, with the Rev. Del Dawes, pastor of the Grinnell United Methodist Church, officiating. The Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The daughter of Ora and Stella McNair Thornton, she was born on Oct. 18, 1914, in Van Meter. The family lived in Wellman and Marengo, where she attended school prior to moving to Grinnell.

She was married to Clark Brink Feb. 29, 1936, in Aledo, Ill. They lived in Grinnell where she was a homemaker.

Surviving are one daughter, Diane Baltisberger of Grinnell, and one sister, Margaret Brink of Bella Vista, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two infant daughters and one brother, LaVoy Thornton.
