GRAHAM FUNERAL
CONDUCTED FRIDAY

Funeral services for Allan M. Graham, 61, were conducted Friday afternoon at two o'clock at the Mason funeral home in Tama with the Rev. Lowell Holmgren in charge. Organist was Mrs. Lloyd Strine and soloist was Mrs. Lowell Holmgren.

Interment was in the Haven cemetery with Fred Hartkemeyer, jr., Albert Hartkemeyer, William Benesh, Phillip Smith, Richard Ross and Wayne Wilcox. In charge of flowers were Mrs. Florence Stone and Mrs. Wayne Wilcox.

Allan M. Graham, son of Merrick and Sybil Aden Graham, was born Oct. 4, 1896, on a farm in Madison township, Poweshiek county, and died August 19, 1958, at his home three miles south of Haven. Mr. Graham's death was caused by a heart attack. He had been aware of his heart condition since last fall however had not felt ill and had continued with his farm work until the day before his death.

He had spent his entire life-time on the same farm, dying in the house where he was born. He attended Madison rural school known as the Fairview school.

Following his marriage to Marian Clarice Horrigan in Montezuma May 18, 1918, he took over the home farm and his parents moved to Tama. He was a member of the Haven Community church.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Richard Allan Graham; four grandchildren, Timothy Allan, 13, Robbie Jean, 11, Va Lou, 4, and Kevin Graham, three months; two sisters, Mrs. Cliff (Grace) Edgington and Mrs. Maude Busch, all of Brooklyn.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, Frank Graham of Tama; a sister, Mrs. Port (Dena) Walker of Eagle Grove, and a brother and sister who died in infancy.
