HOLLIS GALLEY

Hollis Galley, son of Charles Peter Galley and Fleeda Childs Galley, was born in Moravia, Iowa, July 8, 1891. He died Dec. 4, 1956 at a Grinnell hospital.

His father preceded him in death in 1933. His mother survives. Also surviving are seven children, Myron Galley and Margaret Holt, both of Battle Creek, Mich., Hollis T. Galley of Penfield, N.Y., and Denise, David, Danny and Dale Galley of the home. A brother, C.A. Galley of Moline, Ill., also survives.

Mr. Galley was employed as a meter tester for ISU.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 6, at the Glad Tidings Assembly of God church in Grinnell. The Rev. William L. Willis, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Hazelwood cemetery with Smith funeral home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Lavene Kline, Warren Miller, Gerald Sampson, Raymond See, Virgil Wright and Ross Wyss. Music was by Mrs. Robert Teed, pianist, and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Bell, vocalists.
