Funeral Services
Set For Saturday

Funeral services for H.C. "Cash" McDonough will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 at St. John's Lutheran church.

McDonough died Monday evening at his home following an extended illness. He had been an invalid since 1953.

The Rev. L.H. Streich will officiate at the services Saturday. Burial will be in Hazelwood cemetery.

McDonough was born on March 19, 1879, the son of Andrew and Bertha Huff McDonough. He grew to manhood in Richland Township of Jasper county. On November 23, 1906, he was married to Emma Schnell. They had made their home on a farm north of Grinnell since 1926.

Surviving relatives include his wife, four sons, Ivan, Glenn and Homer of Grinnell and Carl of Gainesville, Fla.; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Alta Russell of California and Mrs. Bessie Ferneau of Marshalltown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, an infant grandson and his only brother Fred.
