EMMA BUSWELL

Emma Busell, the daughter of the late Bert and Sarah Jenkins, was born in Poweshiek county, April 10,1871. She died August 2, 1956, at a Grinnell hospital.

She was married to Charles P. Buswell June 19, 1895, and they farmed in the Grinnell community. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1948.

A member of the Congregational church in Grinnell, she had lived in this community all of her life.

Survivors are one son, Harry, of Los Angeles, Calif., and a sister, Nancy of Grinnell. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; two sons, Arthur and Clyde; and two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services were held at the James Funeral Home, Saturday, Aug. 4. The Rev. Leland Mann officiated. Burial was in Hazelwood cemetery. Pallbearers were Eugene Jenkins, John Lewis, Homer Lowrey, George Beeler, Carl Child and Ed Speth.
