ELLA BAKER AUSTIN DEAD

The death of Mrs. C.H. Austin at Des Moines takes away one of the bright young women who twenty years ago was a bright light in Grinnell town and College circles.

Mrs. Austin graduated from Iowa College in 1879, one of the most popular members of a strong and large class, and a large circle of Grinnell friends still recall her many delightful qualitites of mind and heart. Her life has been a worthy one and Grinnell people join her husband in the sorrow they feel in the loss of a noble woman.
