MR. PARMENTER DIES IN OREGON

Word was received here of the death Dec. 16 of Harold L. Parmenter, 68, at Eugene, Ore. Mr. Parmenter had been hospitalized over three months following the amputation of a leg.

Survivors include his wife, a daughter, a son, three grandchildren, two brothers, two sisters, and his mother, Mrs. Marcus Parmenter of Corvallis, Ore.

The Marcus Parmenter family formerly lived in the Gilman and Grinnell communities. Mr. Parmenter was a nephew of Mrs. Howard Hyde and a cousin of Paul Worcester.
