MRS. MARY SWEENY
Mrs. Mary Sweeny died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albert Case, 207 Fifth Ave., Saturday morning of splenic tumor and was buried in Hazelwood cemetery yesterday morning, services being conducted by the Rev. Jas. Curtin of Brooklyn at the Catholic church.
The deceased was about 68 years old and came to this country from Ireland. She was an old resident of Rock Creek township, living with her son, Dan Sweeny, on the farm just south of the Rock Island tracks on the county line, until recently when she was moved to this city for medical treatment. Her son and daughter are the only relatives who survive to morun the loss of a good mother. From them she received the best care and attendance which loving hands can administer.
