--James Gregson died at his home in Searsboro, Thursday July 4th aged 80 years and 5 months. The funeral took place Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock and was conducted by the Rev. Mr. Pickering of the Friends' church. Deceased had been a resident of Poweshiek county for the past forty years and was respected by all who knew him. He was buried in the Christian church *cemetery four miles east of Searsboro. Rev. N. Gregson, a brother and E.M. and George Gregson nephews attended the funeral from Grinnell.
