LAST SERVICES FOR MRS. BROWN

Jane Elizabeth Ross was born Dec. 27, 1862, in Rock Island county, Ill. She was married January 14, 1884 to John W. Brown, also of Rock Island county, Ill. To this union was born one son who passed on at the age of seven years.

Jane Elizabeth Brown died Dec. 9, 1933, at her home near Mountain Grove, Mo. The funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 2:30 p.m. from the Smith Funeral Home. The services were conducted by Rev. William Welsh, pastor of the Baptist church. Mrs. Ed Bohstedt and Mrs. Howard Hyde sang "Beautiful Valley of Eden" and "Face to Face Shall I Behold Him." Pallbearers were R.G. Coutts, C.L. McNally, F.P. Marvin, Dr. C.W. Green, Chal Chacey and Roy Cole. Burial was in Hazelwood cemetery.

She leaves to mourn her loss her devoted husband; also three sisters and two brothers, G.M. Ross of Minneapolis, Minn., Mary Yearous of Calamine, Wis., Julia Agy of Reinbeck, Iowa, Ida Shaffer of Owen, Wis., and Charles M. Ross of Grinnell, Iowa.

The deceased had been a resident of Grinnell for twenty-five years preceding removal to Mountain Grove, Mo., thirteen years ago.
