DIED.

--In this city, Dec. 23rd, Eliza M., wife of A.L. Proctor, aged 51 years.

Mrs. Proctor has been so long an invalid that her worth has been but little known to a large part of the community. She has been confined to the house much of the time for four or five years. This is no place for a record of the beautiful peace and steady faith which were hers through so many months of suffering. Her old friends delight to say that the word which fits her best is, faithful. Her sons claim for themselves the honor of bearing her body from the home she had blessed, and placing it in the last resting place.
