DEEP RIVER GIRL KILLED IN CRASH

Sheila Lyne Icenbice, 18, of Deep River was killed instantly Tuesday night when the car she was driving went out of control and crashed on a gravel road northeast of North English.

According to State Trooper Les Hooper, Miss Icenbice lost control of the car she was driving when she came over the crest of a hill. The vehicle rolled into a ditch, turning over twice.

A passenger, 18-year-old Robert E. Lacina of rural North English, was taken to an Iowa City hospital with arm injuries. He was reported in good condition.

Hooper said Miss Icenbice was thrown from the car and was dead at the scene.
