FUNERAL SERVICES THIS MORNING FOR MISS MAE ANDERS

Miss Mae C. Anders, a resident of Montgomery Hall at Mayflower Home, died Friday morning at her home. She was 74.

Funeral services for Miss Anders were held this morning (Monday) from the First Congregational church with the Rev. Ralph Beebe officiating. Interment was in Hazelwood cemetery with the James-Schalinske Funeral Home in charge.

The daughter of Horace S. and Florence Guthrie Anders, she was born on June 29th, 1884, at Williams, Ia.

Miss Anders was the assistant librarian for the Des Moines Public Libraries for a number of years and was also the originator of the Blank Hospital Guild. She was a member of the First Congregational church of Grinnell.

She is survived by one sister, Miss Ida A. Anders of Knoxville, Tenn.
