MARY ALICE BOWER

Funeral services were held April 17, at Huff's Funeral Home of Coon Rapids for Mary Bower, Rev. Frank Betzer, officiating. Casket bearers were Howard Arrowsmith, Clarence Bowman, Henry Johnson, Al Moarman, Carl Scott and Hoden Truax, all of Coon Rapids. Interment was in Highland cemetery, Bayard, Ia.

Mrs. Bower was born Oct. 3, 1876 in Tama county and passed away April 13, 1960. She lived in the Malcom vicinity as a girl, where she went to grade school, and attended high school in Brooklyn.

She was married to Wm. Otto of Brooklyn, Ia., and to this union three children were born: Charlie Otto of Coon Rapids, Mrs. Andrew Haines of Grinnell, and Fay Hall of Bagdad, Fla.

She married C.P. Bower of Coon Rapids Dec. 20, 1917, where she made her home the past several years. He preceded her in death Aug. 1, 1945.

She belonged to the Church of God in Coon Rapids.

She had 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
