HOMER DODSON SERVICES HELD

Homer Dodson, 61, of Horseshoe Bend, Ark., a former resident of Grinnell, died Saturday, Apr. 27.

Mr. Dodson had been a resident of Grinnell for most of his life, moving to Arkansas two years ago.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, with burial at Violet Hill, Ark.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Homer Dodson of Horseshoe Bend; his daughters, Mrs. Paul (Shirley) Phillips of Grinnell, Mrs. Floyd (Karen) Buffington of Ottawa, Ill., Donna Dodson of Grimes, and Mrs. Rod (Connie) Carlson of Grinnell; two sons, Robert Dodson of the U.S. Navy and Ben Dodson of Ottawa, Ill.; and six grandchildren.
