G.F. GILBERT DIES AT HOME HERE MONDAY

G.F. "Jud" Gilbert died at his home at 1401 Prince street Monday morning about 3 o'clock. Mr. Gilbert had been ailing for ten years, but the last sickness beset him about ten days before his death. The funeral will be held at the home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. Mr. Kinsey of this city in charge. Burial will be in Hazelwood.

Mr. Gilbert was born August 12, 1877 in Mahaska county. He leaves to mourn him his wife an three children, Sherm Gilbert, who lives on a farm south of Grinnell; Mrs. Ruth McKibben of Des Moines; and Mrs. Edith Watkins of Grinnell. The pallbearers will be six of Mr. Gilbert's nephews.
