MAJOR NORMAN RITES CONDUCTED

LYNNVILLE (Special):

Funeral services were held Friday (June 21) at the Harden Funeral Home in New Sharon for Major M. Norman, 77, of rural Searsboro, who died early Wednesday (June 19) at his home.

The Rev. Delano Cunningham of the Lynnville Friends Church officiated at the services. Organist was Mrs. Bernice Jay.

Pallbearers were Mark Norman, Myron Norman, Roger Vander Zyl, Darwin Copeman, Dennis Moore and Thomas Heath. Flower attendants were Mrs. Richard Davis and Mrs. Lester Beyer.

Burial was in the Friends Cemetery in New Sharon.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel; one daughter, Mrs. Neal (Norma) Stevens of Wapello, Iowa; one son, Marvin Norman of Searsboro; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
