MRS. LATCHAM SERVICES HELD

C. Annetta Latcham, 91, of 1812 Eighth Ave., Grinnell, died Saturday, Dec. 17, at St. Francis Manor.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Grinnell, with the Rev. Raymond Lott officiating. Organist will be Kathleen Heffner, and pallbearers will be her grandsons, Allen, Craig, David, Dennis, Michael, Randy and Raymond Latcham and Ronn Stanerson. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery, with the Smith Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Grinnell United Methodist Church.

The daughter of John and Ellen Enerson Olson, she was born June 16, 1897, near Grinnell. She attended rural school and Grinnell High School.

She was married to Howard Latcham July 2, 1919, in Grinnell. The couple farmed near Grinnell, Malcom and Montezuma.

She was a member of the Grinnell United Methodist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Grandmothers Club and the former Sunnyslope Grange.

She is survived by one daughter, Florence Stanerson of Marengo; two sons, Gail of Montezuma and Lyle John of Grinnell; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and two sisters, Mildred Sampson and Fern Olson, both of Grinnell. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one son, Merle; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Arthur and Raymond Olson; and one sister, Evelyn Heisel.
