JESSIE PUGH SERVICES HELD
Services were conducted Tuesday, Dec. 13, in San Fernando, Calif., for Jessie Bell Pugh, 95, who died Thursday, Dec. 8, at the home of her daughter, Wilma Wight.
Mrs. Pugh was born June 28, 1888, in Anselmo, Neb. Her mother died shortly after her birth, and she was raised by her grandparents, Calvin and Sarah Dickson of Newburg.
She was married to Paul A. Pugh, and lived most of their married life in and near Grinnell, moving to California in 1943.
Her husband died Sept. 1, 1968. Since his death, Mrs. Pugh had lived with one of her children. For more than six years she had lived in Orland, Calif.
Survivors include a son, Farrell of Nampa, Idaho; three daughters, Pauline Clever of Van Nuys, Calif., Wilma Wight of Orland and Marvel Lokmaier of San Marcos, Calif.; two half-sisters, both of Broken Bow, Neb.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Burial was in San Fernando. Contributions may be made through Sweet Mortuary to Orland Evangelical Free Church.
