ANDREW D. DOUD, 63, FORMER RESIDENT OF GRINNELL DIES FRIDAY

A former Grinnell resident, Andrew Daniel Doud, 63, died Friday at his home in Des Moines. Funeral services were held today (Monday) with burial at Glendale cemetery in Des Moines.

Born and raised in Grinnell, Mr. Doud was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Doud Sr. He moved to Des Moines about nine years ago from Oskaloosa. In Des Moines, he had operated a sandwich shop until retiring in 1956.

Survivors include his widow, Zella; two daughters--Mrs. John Puls Jr. of Malcom and Mrs. Dale Humphrey of Oskaloosa; a son, Dan Doud Jr. of Des Moines; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Lincoln and Mrs. Beulah Malloy, both of Grinnell; one brother, Clarence Doud of Grinnell and 12 grandchildren.
