GLADYS RHODES SERVICES HELD

Gladys Goodrich Rhodes, 70, of Stockton, Calf., died Sept. 7 in Stockton after a long illness.

She was born April 17, 1908, in Poweshiek County. She attended Grinnell High School and Grinnell College, later teaching school in Iowa, Nebraska and California.

Mrs. Rhodes is survived by three step-children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Rhodes; her parents, Minnie and I.E. Goodrich; and two sisters, Bernice Burden and Erma Dimit.

Funeral services were held Sept. 9 in Stockton.
