HEART ATTACK FATAL TO MRS. SCHWAB; FUNERAL HELD TODAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Joe Schwab, 60, of 609 Fifth avenue were held this (Monday) afternoon at Smith funeral home, with the Rev. John DeLong of the Methodist church as officiating clergyman.

Funeral music was furnished by Edward Bohstedt, organist. Flower bearers were Mrs. Darrell Muckler and Mrs. Floyd State. Pallbearers were Clark Brink, Wm. Flaherty, P.L. Garrigan, Leonard Pederson, Don Phillips and Edd Phillips. Burial was in Hazelwood cemetery.

Mrs. Schwab died at 9 a.m. Friday of a heart attack.

Daughter of Charles D. Stafford and Anna Gardner, Adah Adila Stafford was born at Harvey, Ill., Oct. 15, 1893, and came with the family to Grinnell as an infant.

On Dec. 9, 1914, she was married in Grinnell to Joe L. Schwab who survives along with a daughter, Mrs. R.L. (Jane) McAtee of Marshalltown, and a brother, Robert G. Stafford of Laverne, Calif.

Mrs. Schwab was a member of the Methodist church and the American Legion Auxiliary.
