OBITUARY

Chas. D. Stafford, the only son of Thomas and Adah Stafford was born in Seneca Falls, New York, August 10, 1860 and died October 25, 1933.

When a small boy of seven years, he moved to Grinnell with his parents where he spent the remainder of his life.

He was married May 16, 1886 to Anna L. Gardner. To this union were born four children, Mrs. Imogene Bradley, Grinnell; Thomas G. Stafford, deceased; Mrs. Joe Schwab, Grinnell; and Robert G. Stafford of Glendora, California. One sister, Emma Stafford preceded him in death on October 31, 1931.

He also leaves to mourn his loss five sisters, Mrs. Ruthella Reiter of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. M.P. Reiter, Grinnell, Miss Margaret Stafford, Grinnell, Mrs. Chas. Ingraham of Marshalltown, and Mrs. Arch Keister of Grinnell.

There are six grand children of whom are all living. Funeral services were held at 2:30 Friday afternoon in Snyder Brothers' Chapel, conducted by Rev. H.S. Wilkinson of the Methodist church. Appropriate music was rendered by Mrs. Roscoe Demptser and Mrs. John Carter. Pall bearers were R.G. Coutts, Ross Coutts, Alex Manson, Charles Garrigan, Thomas McConghie, and W.J. Nelson.
