PHEBE MCDANIEL DIES SATURDAY; FUNERAL TUESDAY

Phebe McDaniel of 908-1/2 Main street died Saturday noon at a local hospital following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m Tuesday, March 5th at the James Funeral home, President Harvey A. Pence of the Mormon church will officiate.

The daughter of George and Della Morris, she was born on February 8th, 1896 at Newburg and had made her home in Grinnell for the past 37 years. She was a member of the Mormon church.

Survivors are her son, Charles of Grinnell, three granddaughters and a sister, Clara Morris, also of Grinnell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother.
