MRS. ELLIS KINNAN FUNERAL HELD MONDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Ellis Kinnan, who passed away Saturday night, were conducted by her pastor, Rev. C. A. Carman from the home. Interment was in *Hazelwood. Music was furnished by a quartet consisting of Mrs. Bert Johnson, Mrs. Leonard Newton, Ed Bohstedt and Cecil Myers. Pall bearers were John Alley, Ed Bohstedt, Alfred Breiting, B.N. Whitaker, Peter Fowler and S.E. Raffety.

Ella Price was born in Philadelphia, Pa., Oct. 25, 1859, to William Luther and Emmaline Price, and at the time of her death lacked seven days of being sixty five years of age.

In her young womanhood she came to Iowa and was successful in her work as a school teacher in Cherokee. She was married to Ellis Kinnan on March 8, 1903, and in 1907 they moved to Grinnell where she continued to make her home until her death. She was a member of a large family, all of whom have preceded her in death except one brother, John D. Price, of Chicago.

Mrs. Kinnan was a Bible student of unusual ability and a splendid Christian, active in the work of the church, until ill health prevented her undertaking it. She was a loving and faithful wife and will be sadly missed in the home.

Many friends gathered at the services Monday afternoon to express their love and affection for her and their sympatny with the bereaved husband and father.

Transcriber Note: WPA records have her listed as buried in *Chester Cemetery and also shown buried there in the Chester Cemetery book inscriptions.
