OZRO R. DEARINGER SERVICES ON FRIDAY

LYNNVILLE (Special) -- Ozro Riley Dearinger, 65, a lifetime area resident, died Monday of an apparent heart attack while unloading playground equipment at Mabank, Tex. He was an employee of Ahrens Manufacturing Co. of Grinnell.

Mr. Dearinger was born Sept. 20, 1912, in Searsboro, the son of James and Lexie Allee Dearinger. He was educated in the local schools, and on Nov. 6, 1931, was united in marriage with Jennie Johnson of Deep River.

He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife; his sons James of Waukee, S/Sgt. Richard, stationed in the Aleutian Islands, and David, a senior a Lynnville-Sully High School; four grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Harry (Ella) Lincoln of Marshalltown.

Funeral services for Mr. Dearinger will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday in the Lynnville Friends Church with the Rev. Peter Schuler officiating. Pallbearers will include Ray Copeland, Wilbur Stanley, Carl Terpstra, Jim Terlouw, Glen VanGenderen, and Ray VerSteeg, with Cliff Crews and Stanley Millhouse as honorary pallbearers.

Organist will be Mrs. Howard Macy, and Homer McDowell will be the soloist. The flower committee is made up of Mrs. Jim Kellogg, Mrs. Glen VanGenderen, Mrs. Arnold Terpstra, and Mrs. Arle Crews.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
