MRS. HALSTEAD SERVICES SET

Anna Halstead, 87, the widow of Len Halstead, died Friday evening at St. Francis Manor.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Russell, pastor of the Grinnell United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Hazelwood Cemetery.

The daughter of Eberhart and Louise Appleby Larsen, she was born Dec. 23, 1889, near Malcom. Mrs. Halstead was a member of the Grinnell United Methodist Church and the W.S.C.S. of the church.

Survivors include her children, Mrs. Odo (Bernice) Hotchkin of Fairfield; Mrs. Joe (Harriet) Eisele of Huntington Beach, Calif.; Leonard A. and Kenneth Halstead, both of Grinnell; Keith Halstead of Bethany, Mo.; Edwin Halstead of Little Rock, Ark.; and Mrs. James (Helen) Heether of Dayton, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband.
