PHILIP ZIRBEL RITES HELD IN LOUISIANA

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, June 9, at Shreveport, Louisiana, for Philip B. Zirbel, 51, son of Gus Zirbel of Montezuma.

Philip Zirbel died June 7 following a sudden illness. He was born and reared in Montezuma and graduated from high school here. Mr. Zirbel served 17 years in the army, and since that time he had been with Superior Iron Works, Inc., in Shreveport, serving as executive secretary in the sales department at the time of his death. He was *married and had no children.

Burial was in Twin City Memorial Gardens in West Monroe, La.
