WARREN ZIRBEL RITES CONDUCTED FRIDAY

Funeral rites for Warren Zirbel were conducted by the Rev. Howard Hayes Friday afternoon, February 14, at the Steffy Funeral Home. Miss Alice Underwood was the organist.

Casket bearers were Kenneth Haynes, Richard Wallace, Warren Tinkle, Eldon Hedrick, Lewis Johnston and Clifford Braley. Interment was at Mason-IOOF Cemetery.

Mr. Zirbel, 64, passed away Wednesday, February 12.

The son of Mary and Gus Zirbel, he was born near Montezuma on Sept. 15, 1904. He was cared for by his family and since the death of his mother in 1942 he has lived at the County Home. About a week ago he was taken to the Goeke Nursing Home.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Kathryn Peterson of St. Paul, Minn., and Mrs. Helen Emal of Iowa Falls.
