AN OLD TIME RESIDENT OF GRINNELL PASSES

Maxwell Pierson Reiter, for forty-two years a resident of Grinnell, passed away at 1:10 o'clock Sunday morning at his home, 935 Spring street, at the advanced age of 80 years, three months and nine days. Funeral services were held from the home at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon conducted by Rev. H.S. Wilkinson. Burial was in Hazelwood.

Mr. Reiter was born in Piqua, Ohio, the son of Henry Reiter and Elizabeth Walls Reiter. His father was born in Bremen, Germany. He is survived by his wife and one brother, Ward Reiter, of Canon City, Colo.
