JAMES SCHMUDLACH

James Lee Schmudlach, 54, of Grinnell died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006 in Newton.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 18, at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church. A luncheon at the church will follow. There is no visitation. Mitchell Family Funeral Home of Marshalltown is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be sent to www.mitchellfh.co.

He was born Feb. 28, 1954, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Ruby Fick and adopted by Norman Schmudlach. He received his education in the Milwaukee and Ogema, Wis., areas and later received his GED after moving to Grinnell. On June 26, 1992, he was united in marriage with Tamera Sue Reimenschneider in Madison, Wis., and they made their home in Grinnell. He enjoyed motorcycles and was a member of ABATE.

He is survived by his wife Tamera of Grinnell; one daughter, Michelle; two sons, Shaun and Cody; his mother Ruby Fay; two brothers Joe Sanchez and David Schmudlach and three sisters, Margie Sanchez, Debbie Lindsay and Cindy Sutcliffe, all of Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his adoptive father Norman Schumdlach; his step-father, Duane Fay and one brother, Jerry Schmudlach.
