OBITUARY.

MISS ANNA SQUIRE

Miss Anna Squire was born in Erie Co., Ohio, Feb. 19th,1842. She resided there until grown to young womanhood, when with her mother and brothers she came to Iowa. After living in Johnson Co. for a few months the family moved to Poweshiek Co., where they have since resided.

Miss Squire united with the M.E. church in 1880, during the pastorate of Dr. D.S. Murphy. She was an ernest worker in the church during the years in which her health permitted. She was specially interested in the Women's Foreign Missionary Society, having served as its treasurer for a number of years.

After a protracted illness she passed away on the morning of May 12th, 1905, aged 63 years, 3 months, 2 days. The funeral services were held at the home of her brother on West St., Saturday afternoon, May 13th, by the Rev. J.M. McClelland. Interment in Hazelwood cemetery.
