DENNIS COGLEY JR.

Dennis J. Cogley Jr., 73, a resident of Diamond Life Health Center in Montezuma, died Friday, Dec. 2, at Grinnell Regional Medical Center.

Graveside services were conducted Monday at Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell, with the Rev. Anthony G. Farrell, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church, officiating. The Smith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He was the son of Dennis and Marjorie Smith Cogley and was born Feb. 25, 1921, in Poweshiek County. He spent much of his life under care at the Woodward State Hospital or in Montezuma.

Surviving are four brothers, Donald of Grinnell, Paul of Little Rock, Wash., Phillip of Anaheim, Calif., and Larry of Pella.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jerry; and a sister, Dorothy Allen.
