SERVICES HELD FOR A.A. WHITE

Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. today at the Methodist church for A.A. White, who died Wednesday at his home one mile west of Grinnell. Rev. W.J. Fowler was in charge of the services, and burial was at Hazelwood.

Almon Adelbert White was born October 15, 1859, at Mallorytown, Ontario, Canada. He was a son of Amos and Charlotte Monroe White. He passed away at 8:30 o'clock Wednesday evening August 9, 1933, aged 73 years, nine months and 24 days.

On February 15, 1899, he was married to Miss Minnie Kennedy at Newton, Iowa. Six children were born to them, and with his widow, five of the children, Mrs. John Donnan, Ernest L., Ruth, Raymond C. and Doris May White survive him. One son, Richard, preceded him in death. There are two grandchildren, Doris Maxine Donnan and Victor White.

Two sisters, Mrs. A.A. Reno of Grinnell and Mrs. Hattie Craven of Kellogg, also survive him. Two brothers, Arthur White and Charles White, are deceased.

Mr. and Mrs. White and their family have lived at the present home west of Grinnell for more than thirty years. Prior to locating there they lived in the Hickory Grove neighborhood.

Mr. White was a home-loving man, devoted to his family, and stood for all the finest and best things in life.
