CHARLES MEHLIN DIES

Funeral Services Were Held Sunday from Home South of Town.

Charles Mehlin died at the St. Francis hospital Friday evening. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the home south of town conducted by Rev. O.C. Biermann, pastor of the German Lutheran church in Sheridan.

Miss Helen Schmeltz sang two solos. Pall bearers were Ed Eriksen, Henry Eriksen, John Ahrens, Reno Appleby, Henry Ahrens and Eugene Dennison.

Charlie Mehlin had lived for several years either in or near Grinnell and had by his genial nature won a large number of friends. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, Mary Dennison Mehlin; his mother, Mrs. C.M. Mehlin and his brother, T.J. Mehlin.
