RACHEL EDSBERG SERVICES SET

Rachel Lamb Edsberg, 69, a native of the Malcom area died July 4 at the Loma Linda Medical Center at Loma Linda, Calif.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Sheridan Cemetery northeast of Grinnell, with the Rev. Darrell Davis of the First Church of Christ of Ankeny officiating. The Smith Funeral Home of Grinnell is in charge of arrangements.

The daughter of Harrison and Nellie Lamb, she was born on a farm near Malcom on May 2, 1917. She was married to John Edsberg at Long Beach, Calif.

She worked for 40 years for Pacific Bell Telephone co.

Survivors include five brothers, John of Waterloo, Leonard of Newton, Brook of Grinnell, Harold of Fairfield and Delmar of Romoland, Calif.; and four sisters, Goldie Lamb of Waterloo, Violet Seehorn of Ankeny, Addie Gray of Hemet, Calif., and Joyce Laird of Chandler, Ariz.
