LEWIS N. YOERGLER

Lewis Napoleon Yoergler, nearly all of whose life had been spent in Poweshiek county, died Friday, Feb. 18, of cancer of the face, at the age of 47 years, 10 months and 1 day. The funeral services were held from St. Patrick's church in Tama Monday morning a 10 o'clock and interment was in the Haven cemetery, the pall bearers being Charles Moyer, William Elwood, Peter Doyle, George Kline, Nicholas Kriegle and George Kriegle.

He was born in Henderson county, Ill., April 16, 1873 and came to Iowa with his parents when he was but six weeks old, the rest of his life having been nearly all spent in the neighborhood south of Haven. He was married to Miss Daisy Mae Clark, of Tama county, May 21, 1902. Five children were born to them, Anna Myrtle, 16, Merle Edwin, 15, Lulu Mae, 10, Doris Marie, 7, and Harold Lewis, 3, who with their mother, survive. Mr. Yoergler is also survived by his aged mother, Mrs. Frank Yoergler, his sister, Mrs. Alex Moyer, of San Antonio, Fla.; and two brothers, John Yoergler, Shell City, Mo., and Frank Yoergler, Monette, Mo.--Tama Herald.
