LILA KRUMM RITES FRIDAY

Lila Belle Krumm, 78, a former resident of the Grinnell area, died Tuesday morning, Feb. 9, at Columbia, S.C.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Morris Hay of the Hickory Grove Church officiating. Burial will be at Hazelwood Cemetery.

She and her husband Philip Krumm formerly farmed northwest of Grinnell in the Newburg area until Mr. Krumm's death in 1960. She had made her home in Columbia since 1967.

Mrs. Krumm is survived by her children, Floyd Krumm of Columbia, Frederick Krumm of Cheyenne, Wyo., Audrey Halverson of Marshalltown, Iona Edwards of Riverside, Calif., and Jean Nolin of Springfield, Va.; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Denton Wilkens of Grinnell.
