FORMER RESIDENT OF LYNNVILLE DIES FEB. 16 IN CANADA

LYNNVILLE (Special) -- Mrs. Sam Shaffer, 84, a former resident of this community, died Wednesday, Feb. 16th, at Regina, Sask., Canada.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday from the Lynnville Friends church with the Rev. Peter Schuler, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Woodland cemetery.

The former Eva Dimit, she was the daugther of Mr. and Mrs. M. Dimit and was born near Lynnville. She spent her girlhood in that area.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Pete (Helen) McNaughton of Regina, Sask., Can.; two sons, Dwight of Marshalltown and Keith of California; and several neices and nephews.
