MRS. ANN TINKER FUNERAL TODAY
Mrs. Ann Tinker was born in Salford, England, on Jan. 27, 1860, and passed away Saturday, June 27, 1931 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Archibald McBlain at 115 East Sixth avenue. She had suffered a stroke about the middle of May and had been bedfast since that time.
Mrs. Tinker is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Hogg of Salford, England, and Mrs. Shirley, of Manchester, England. Her first husband was William Heath who passed away in 1892. To this union two children were born, Annie E. of Grinnell, and Mrs. Maude McBlain. She was married again in 1899 to Benjamin Tinker who passed away in 1921. Two stepsons of the deceased survive her. They are Joseph and John Tinker, who live in England. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Mrs. Tinker came to Grinnell to live in 1923. She was a member of the Episcopal church in Salford, England.
Funeral services are being held this afternoon, starting at 2:30 o'clock, from the United Presbyterian church, conducted by Rev. W.J. Stewart.
Pallbearers will be J.L. Hockett, M.O. Stanley, Joe Rand, Theodore Risse, T.L. McIlrath and G.M. Watters.
