MRS. G.E. TINKER BURIED AT BROOKLYN

Funeral services were held at Brooklyn Sunday for Mrs. G.E. Tinker, a former resident of Grinnell, who passed away Thursday, October 20, at her home in Winfield, Kansas. The services were in charge of the Grinnell Chapter of Eastern Star of which Mrs. Tinker had been a prominent member during her residence in Grinnell.

Mrs. Tinker lived all of her life in Brooklyn and Grinnell except the last few years which were spent at Winfield, Kansas. She was the mother of Mrs. Maunis Godbey.

Among those who went from here to attend the services Sunday were: Mrs. D.H. Snook, Mrs. John Rehder, Miss Eleanor Burroughs, Mr. and Mrs.Lee Bridges, Mrs. Carl Hutchison, Mrs. J.C. Gibbs, Mr. and Mrs. C.S. Myers, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Smith, Mrs. E. (Elson?), Mrs. Lois Ryan, Mrs. Mattie Godbey, Miss Isla Godbey, Mr. and Mrs. I.M. Harrington and Guy and Mr. and Mrs. Guy Barclay.
