RITES HELD FOR MRS. SIPPEL

Martha M. Sippel, 91, formerly of Dubuque, mother of Ruth Louden, died Friday, Dec. 18, at Americana Health Care Center in Cedar Rapids.

Services were held Monday afternoon at Ed Siepert-Al Didesch Colonial Funeral Home Dubuque, with burial in Linwood Cemetery, Dubuque. Memorials may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Dubuque.

She was born March 31, 1896 in Monticello. She was married Nov. 26, 1917, to Harold G. Sippel in Dubuque. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and the Eagles Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1958. She is survived by one daughter Ruth Louden, Grinnell, and one son Robert Sippel, Marion; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
