PLAN SERVICES ON FRIDAY FOR VESTA RENBARGER

Mrs. Vesta Renbarger, wife of Darwin Renbarger of Rte. 1, died Tuesday evening at a local hospital following an illness of the past several years.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Smith Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Friday with Dr. Leland Mann, pastor of the Congregational church, officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery at Lamoille.

Born June 16th, 1903, at State Center, she was the daughter of Corydon and Mary Beatty Buck. She graduated from State Center high school and attended Iowa State Teachers College.

On Aug. 24th, 1927, at Minneapolis, Minn., she was united in marriage with Darwin F. Renbarger. To this union two children were born, Betty Jean, who preceded her in death, and Jerry D. of the United States Air Force, stationed in Labrador. He is also survived by two grandsons, Michael D. and Steven B. Renbarger.

Other survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Norma Corbin of Nevada, Mrs. Zella Benson of Grinnell, Mrs. Maxine Hindt and Mrs. Dorothy Rebenbauer, both of Monterey Park, Calif.; four brothers, Rapha Buck of Dundurn, Canada, Hugh Daniels of Orange, Calif., George and Leighton Buck, both of State Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Ruth, and her daughter.

Mrs. Renbarger had lived in Marshalltown before coming to Grinnell in 1934. She was a member of the Grinnell Congregational church and belonged to the Women's Fellowship, the adult Sunday School class, and the World Service board of the church. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Colonists and the Westfield Grange.
