FUNERAL HERE FOR MRS. ZELMA MALFAIT

Funeral services for Mrs. Zelma Malfait, 86, were held at St. Patrick's church in Brooklyn Saturday morning at ten o'clock with the Rev. John T. Kennedy officiating. Burial was in Calvary cemetery at Victor.

Mrs. Malfait, who formerly lived near Brooklyn, died last Thursday in the Goeke nursing home at Montezuma where she had lived several years.

She is survived by a son, Bert Van Dale, and a daughter, Mrs. Joe Burke, both of Chicago, and three sisters, Mrs. Erma Lacaeyse of Brooklyn, Mrs. Alida Andries of Moline, Ill. and Mrs. August Verdeck of Marshall, Minn.

MRS. ZULME MALFAIT BURIED IN VICTOR

The funeral of Mrs. Zulme Malfait, 85, was held Saturday morning, Feb. 26, at St. Patrick's Church in Brooklyn with the Rev. John T. Kennedy officiating.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Victor with Fred Lacaeyse, August Lacaeyse, George Lavent, Marcel Lavent, Joe Herbrandt and Morris Herbrandt serving as pallbearers. Steffy Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Malfait, who formerly lived near Brooklyn, died Thursday, Feb. 24 in Montezuma. She was a resident of the Goeke Nursing Home for the past seven years.

She was born April 25, 1880, in Austeine, Belgium.

Survivors include two children, Mrs. Joseph Burke of Chicago and Albert Van Dale of Evergreen Park, Ill.;three grandchildren and one great grandchild; and three sisters, Mrs. Erma Lacaeyse of Brooklyn, Mrs. Ed Andries of Moline, Ill., and Mrs. August VerDeck of Marshall, Minn.
