AL STANLEY, RESIDENT HERE 26 YEARS DIES

Almond H. Stanley, 78, died at a local hospital Wednesday evening, Jan. 5, following a short illness.

Funeral services are pending but will be held at Smith Funeral Home at Grinnell with burial at Victor.

Native of Primghar, Ia., Mr. Stanley was born June 18, 1876. He was married to Minnie Belle Craft on Nov. 1, 1899 at Belle Plaine.

He had lived at Victor many years before coming to Grinnell 26 years ago. Mr. Stanley was a member of the Methodist church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Leona Mae Hoffstatter of Grinnell; a son, Lloyd Stanley of Kellogg; and a brother, Charles Stanley of Denver, Colo.
