MRS. JOHN BOYLE

Emily Sheridan, daughter of Thomas and Hannah Sheridan was born in Henry Co., Ind., Sept. 18, 1849. Died at Lynnville, Ia., March 16, 1922, age 72 years, 7 months, 18 days.

She came with her parents to Ia., 1857. She was married to J.G. White in 1890. Mr. White departed this life 1907.

She was married to John Boyle who survives her, Dec. 29, 1914.

She became a Christian early in life and lived an exemplary Christian life and her example of faithfulness in the Masters service has been an inspiration to all who knew her.

She was a good true sympathetic wife and a devoted mother to her step children. Her sweet womanly qualities were admired by all.

She was active in her Church work being constant in her attendance.

During her bodily afflictions tho she suffered much she never murmured or complained.

She possessed a bright happy disposition always looking on the bright side of everything.

She gave liberally of her means to the support of the Gospel in home and foreign field and also to charity.

She loved life and longed to live but was ready to go.

She leaves to mourn her departure her husband John Boyle, four sisters and one brother, Susan Mitchell, Searsboro, Chas. Sheridan, Emporia, Kansas, Lizzie S. Overman, Philmoth, Ore., Myra O. Kenly, Pasadena, Calif., Hettie Stanley, Lynnville, Ia., besides a large number of relatives and a host of friends.

Emily Boyle, servant of God, well
done;
Thy glorious warfare passed.
The battle fought, the victory won,
And thou are crowned at last.

Those attending the funeral from a distance were, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Boyle from Watertown, S.D., C.E. Boyle, Fargo, N.D., M.C. White and wife from Des Moines and Bert White of Menlo, with friends and relatives from Grinnell, Searsboro and other points.--Lynnville Leader.
