MRS. O.T. FRISBIE DIES IN OREGON AT ADVANCED AGE

A telegram received Friday evening announced the death that morning in McMinnville, Oregon, at an advanced age, of Mrs. Lizzie Frisbie, widow of O.T. Frisbie, who preceded her in death a few months ago. Mrs. Frisbie was well known and much beloved by earlier residents of Grinnell. She belonged to the Frisbie family who gave their name to Frisbie hill south of town, where the family lived for a great many years. The place was first occupied by D.G. Frisbie (Squire Dan'l) an uncle of A.L. Frisbie of the Herald-Register, and later by his son, O.T. Frisbie. Mr. and Mrs. Frisbie moved to California a good many years ago and made their home in Los Angeles until Mr. Frisbie's death. Since that time Mrs. Frisbie has been with relatives at McMinnville. She is survived by four children, Dr. Charles and Sherman Frisbie of Portland, Oregon, George Frisbie of Cannon Beach, Wash., and Mrs. Mary Frisbie Frasher of Los Angeles. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon in McMinnville.

Transcriber Note: Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, McMinnville, Yamhill Co. Oregon
