MRS. MOSE JOHNSON IS BURIED IN MONTEZUMA

Antonete Amelia Adams, daughter of John C. and Mary Adams, was born in Missouri on March 7, 1857. On October 7, 1877, she was united in marriage with Mose A. Johnson. To this union one child, Edward Clyde, was born.

For thirty-one years they made their home in Montezuma, and after living one year in Cedar Rapids, they moved to Des Moines where they have since resided.

Mrs. Johson hd been in failing health for some time but her condition was not considered serious until a week ago, when she was taken seriously ill and passed away Friday morning, Feb. 14 at 12:15 o'clock.

She leaves to mourn her loss her devoted husband, her daughter-in-law, Mabel Zugg of Des Moines, three grandchildren, Beatrice Graves of Los Angeles, Marguerite Johnson of Indianapolis, Ind., and Edward Clyde Johnson of Des Moines, and one great-grandchild. Also one brother, Albert D. Adams of Grinnell, and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her son, who passed away on December 21, 1915.

Mrs. Johnson was always highly respected and her love for art and beauty manifested itself in the adornment of her home. Her happiest moments were spent in doing something to make her loved ones happy. She was a devoted wife and a very generous woman and her hands were ever ready to help some one in need.
